"There is nothing as important for any of us as the work we do on our own
souls."
--Fred Fleischer, Founding Jungian Analyst of the Center
Please join us as we kick-off the new season with a Social Gathering where
you can talk with old friends and make new ones. The Center offers a place
to meet like-minded people where you can discuss psychological,
philosophical, social and personal issues in an environment of acceptance
and community. While you browse the book tables, you will find many Jungian
books and other psychology books, some new, some used, and many donated
books at very low prices. It is a great time to add to your library those
books that you have been seeking. We will provide refreshments and drinks to
make the evening more enjoyable——and it’s all FREE.
The “Dream Tending” movie featuring Stephen Aizenstat, Ph.D., co-founder of
Pacifica Graduate Institute, which we featured at our Annual Event last May,
will be shown in a special area for those who missed it. We are excited that
Dr. Aizenstat will be with us for a special 3-day workshop on January 22-24,
2010. This will be your opportunity to learn more, to ask questions, and to
pre-register for this important event at the discounted price. So come,
meet, chat, eat, and browse in an atmosphere of congeniality, friendship,
and in service to the community. Be sure to bring your friends and invite
your students and clients. The Board of the Center welcomes everyone, and we
hope you enjoy yourselves.
Reminder: If you would like to donate books for the Book Sale, please
contact Richard Chappell at: rhpchappell@netscape.net or call the Center
Message phone at 954-525-4682. All contributions are tax-deductible.
As a marketing and networking opportunity for professionals, we will have a
table for you to display your brochures and business cards. We look forward
to seeing you there.
