Image and Individuation
Through imagination and image we make meaning of our lives. This season
the Center hosts an ongoing conversation about the process of individuation and
how experiences of images, especially through the mirror of art, are Jung's Path
to the Self.
Jung said,
Making our lives more conscious and ourselves more whole is a more visible
process through reflection on image.
The Center for Jungian Studies of South Florida, Inc. is a non-profit educational association that serves the wider community by fostering the study of the psychology of Carl G. Jung. The Center presents educational services including lectures, seminars, discussions and workshops to address the psychological, social and spiritual issues of our time while providing a forum for personal reflection and development.
Our programs are offered for mental health professionals wishing to gain a greater understanding of psychological theory and clinical practice from a Depth / Jungian perspective. We have been an approved provider from the State of Florida since 1991.
CEU credits are provided through the Florida Department of Health for Psychologists (#PCE-50 Exp. 5/31/2010) and for Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists and Mental Health Counselors (#BAP-89 Exp. 3/31/09). Other licensed professionals may be able to count our CEUs towards their licenses.
